*Position : Java developer: in Fairfax, VA * 1. Responsible for completing all stages of application development. 1. Design all of the changes given in the BRD and document those changes in applicable design documents. 2. enhancing existing applications Interface with end users taking functional requirements from concept to production 3. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities 4. Experience with Web Services Development using JAX-RPC / JAX-WS 5. Must be able to take proactive hands-on approach and demonstrate a "do whatever it takes" attitude to address customer requirements 6. Experience with JDBC, JMS, JAXB, XSLT, Struts, HTML, JSP, Servlet technology 7. Database using JDBC (MySQL) 8. Required knowledge of design patterns and the expertise, in using them in the application where applicable 9. Preferred experience working with Sharepoint reporting and MS-report builder 10. Strong experience in debugging production issues on Linux boxes 11. Experience writing shell scripts to automate regular tasks 12. Ability to communicate with business and technical teams both orally and written 13. Knowledge of multiple languages/alternative frameworks and ability to learn new technologies as the need arises 14.
