We have a requirement with our client for a Sr Data Warehouse Analyst *Position: *Sr Data Warehouse Analyst *Duration: *12 months** *Location: *Tumwater, Washington *Interviews: In-person interviews* * * *Background: * Background: support the development and operation of data marts. These data marts are designed as conformed components of a departmental data warehouse. The contractor shall perform the technical tasks required to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot extraction, transformation and load (ETL) routines that move data from transactional databases to the data warehouse. The contractor shall provide support to report analysts and customers to ensure accurate and timely performance of reports utilizing information from the data warehouse. * * *Required Skills:* * * · Minimum 5 years of experience in creating and maintaining Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes using Informatica, including use of PowerCenter for SQL Server. - Minimum 5 years of experience in writing complex queries using Transact SQL for reporting and data validation - Minimum 5 years of experience in using Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005, and 2008 r2 software tools to administer and/or manage SQL Server databases - Minimum 5 years of experience employing data warehouse principles and theories, including knowledge of the various tactical approaches to data warehouse development - Experience using PowerExchange for Mainframe ADABAS - Minimum 5 years of experience working with large organizations (over 1000 employees) * * *Preferred Skills:* · Creating and maintaining Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) · Experience creating and maintaining OLAP cubes · Experience tuning and optimizing SQL Server Data bases · Understanding of database modeling and design principles and ability to use a data model diagram · Experience performing mainframe-to-server automation, bulk copy and FTP download Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
