Still need a “heavy” ICEfaces developer *MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE ICEFACES* *Job Description* Sr Java / J2EE Programmer Developer for an exciting 11 month contract opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA. We are a technology solutions company offering talent acquisition, outsourced solutions and management consulting for businesses. In this role you will plan, analyze, implement, test and maintain standalone and Internet web applications. Qualified candidates will possess proficient Icefaces /JSF and Agile skills. *Sr. Java / J2EE Responsibilities:* Responsible for writing programs to maintain and control computer systems software for operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. Responsible for creating the software platform, and then fine-tuning the final program after it has been made. *Sr Java / J2EE Education/Experience:* Minimum of seven (7) years of Java development and J2EE experience. Minimum of five (5) years of system design. Two (2) years of Hibernate, Icefaces/JSF, Spring, PL/SQL, SQL, Eclipse, Unix and JDBC experience. Bachelor's degree/equivalent in computer science, MIS or related discipline 5+ years experience in systems development and the skills/platform/environment requested by companies management *Sr Java / J2EE Skills and Competencies:* Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue Skilled in one or more programming languages Full working knowledge of an application development language /package, program design, application development methodology *Sr Java / J3EE Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:* Gathers user requirements data in order to prepare functional specifications Designs and transforms user requirements into an application program for a data processing system Works on highly complex projects and provides technical direction.
