Position Responsibilities: Support and develop flexible, responsive collection of web platforms and tools to support current and future business objectives. Contribute to a development framework with documentation and accountability for implementing and maintaining hardware and software infrastructure Provide subject matter expertise to the business for decision making and planning related to the web hardware and software infrastructure Lead in a highly matrixed, fast paced organization. Proactively control quality in all aspects of web development and maintenance. Proactively provide governance and maintain accountability for web platforms both internal and external Desired Skills: JavaScript and well known frameworks ( jquery or an equivalent) Cross-browser compliant markup across static and dynamic paradigms Presentation-tier Server-side frameworks such as JSPs, servlets, JSF JSON and XML conversion and data transfer between the browser and server side components Rich web-based web applications utilizing AJAX for the user experience XML processing and translation experience using SAX, XSLT or XPath, JAXB Strong knowledge of HTML5 / CSS3 / Javascript / jQuery CakePHP Experience: 2-5 years of J2EE and JSP programming experience Demonstrated understanding of Web Client side techonology Demonstrated understanding of JSP, AJAX, XML, XSLT and advanced UI - Technologies Demonstrated object oriented design and design patterns experience Preferred: Experience in Continuous Integration environment with automated testing Well written and spoken English Able to perform in fast-paced environment Strong willingness to learn!
