Their current intranet was started in 2008 and has been growing organically and requires more structure. They are seeking to implement more governance and likely rework it’s structure to enable employees efficient access to content. In an effort to help support all employees who need to easily find the right information they are seeking a resource to analyze their current state of the Sharepoint content database. They are seeking evaluation and further recommendations from an external consultant using a reference library approach. The initiative is to gather and document business requirements in order to define the specific business needs and guide an appropriate solution. Project Objectives The objectives of this project are to: 1. Capture and document the business requirements for a content management solution. The purpose of this document is to define the current state of their content management system and document a solution to ensure that all stakeholders have a roadmap for enhancement. 2. Create wireframes and documentation necessary to guide the development of a user interface to content management solution.
