Looking forward to hear from you... * * *Role: AIX Applications Administrator* *Location: Midland, TX (This is a part-time / remote opportunity)* *Rate: $/hr* * * *NOTE: *Client is seeking a person who can manage an AIX based system about 20 hours for a couple of weeks and then 5-10 hours a week for 18-24 months. Telecommunicating is acceptable. Job functions and skills set required are below. * * *Job Functions:* *3-5+ Years experience with each of the following:* - Plan and coordinate day-to-day operation of an AIX computer system (3 RS6000s) and 4 windows boxes. Strong understanding of AIX and can be diligent about checking logs.
