We have an opening for an *OBIEE DataStage Developer* in *Columbus, OH*. This is a 2 month contract that will likely get extended through December. We have *interview times for 10/23 and 10/25*. The ideal candidate will be able to Mentor and offer on the job training to more junior candidates already part of the team. *Required skills:* • OBIEE reporting and analytics - Develop systems specifications, process flows, and conversion strategies • OBIEE 11g experience • R12 HR payroll experience • DataStage experience • SQL experience • DB2 • DataMarts *Roles & Responsibilities:* * * • Experience developing OBIEE solutions running against Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 is highly preferred • Extensive knowledge of Oracle delivered data structures for OBIEE applications • Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, TOAD (or similar tools used for database development), UNIX, and UNIX Scripting • Knowledge of dimensional data modeling. • Meet with system subject matter experts to complete source-to-target data mapping • Adhere to structured development lifecycle methodology • Create Detailed Design documentation based on detailed requirements • Present designs in design review sessions • Develop and modify Data Stage ETL processes - input data sources will be DB2, Oracle, text files and mainframe variable length files. • Present code in code review sessions • Conduct structured unit and integration testing • Provide defect analysis and resolution support for system and user acceptance testing • Provide support for system implementations *Other Minimum Requirements:* * * • Strong communication skills - written and verbal • Self-Starter, able to take direction and work independently • Banking product knowledge is helpful • Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment. • Must be able to project a positive and professional image. • Must be able to use critical thinking skills to determine best approach to problem solving. • Must maintain confidentiality at all times. • Have a strong aptitude for accuracy and must be detail oriented.
