I have the following need for a DataStage ETL Developer. Please let me know if you have anyone that meets all of the requirements below. *Position* – DataStage ETL Developer *Experience *– 5+ years *Location – *Charlotte, NC *Length* – 6 month Contract-to-Hire *Max Pay Rate - *$50/hour ****Must be a Citizen or GC as this will convert PERM**** Targeted Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Datastage ETL, oracle databases, SQL, and production operational knowledge. - Knowledge of Operational Data source/ODS. Expected Responsibilities: - Will be providing production support for a 24x7 operational data source that is used by multiple websites for account information - Work with multiple groups to ensure the daily SLAs are met for various sources of data - Perform improvements, optimizations, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting . Tasks and Responsibilities: - Analyze business functionalities and work closely with senior Data Modeler and Database Architect during the Design and Development of ETL Technical Specification document. - Develop Data Stage Parallel (PX) jobs and Shared Containers - Improve the ETL Job performance while big data loads into ODS database. - Developed email alerts and notifications to other data teams once data loads completed in ODS DB. - Monitor ODS batch cycle and meet SLA. - Communicate to Business teams and stakeholders if Data load process is delayed or don't meet SLA for slowness of source extracts. - Need to troubleshoot and resolve all web user Incidents which is related for data issues and do data fix. Suggested Experience & Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field -Preferably worked with ODS databases. - Over 6 years’ experience working on Datastage ETL and Oracle databases - Prefer knowledge of scripting language Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
