3 month contract in Boston/ need to do a face to ace interview Quality Engineer – Mobile Applications (Contract) Responsibilities * Collaborate with offshore (UK) engineering team and product owners to drive continuous improvement of the Zipcar mobile application and member experience * Design and execute manual test cases to ensure quality, defect-free apps * Work with mobile engineering team to develop/execute automated functional test suites * Continually add Business Value to Agile Teams through Proactive Participation * Identify and track software defects * Maintain the matrix of Android Operating Systems and Devices that are compatible with the Zipcar mobile application * Analyze production defects reported through member services and replicate in test environments * Work with mobile engineering team to develop automated functional test suites Qualifications * BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience * 3 plus years of experience testing Mobile Applications (Android preferred) * Experience with a software test automation tool * Experience with design and execution of functional test cases. * Prior experience working in an Agile software development environment * Strong command of Linux operating systems * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Adaptable and willing to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
