Good Afternoon, We have two immediate openings for a Performance Tester for a long term contract position. Candidates will be working in Baltimore, MD. The paperwork process only takes 1-2 days with an immediate start date to follow. Rates $DOE/HR with flexibility if necessary. Client has an immediate opening for a Performance Engineer to provide engineering and operations support for Enterprise Test Center Expansion. Our customer is providing agency-wide IT and infrastructure support services to the CMS under the Consolidated Information Technology Infrastructure Contract (CITIC). CMS, an agency within the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, provides health insurance for approximately 90 million beneficiaries through Medicare, Medicaid, the State Children's Health Program, and other health care quality assurance programs. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have more than 6,000 government employees located in Woodlawn, Md.; Washington D.C.; and 10 regional locations and other satellite offices. We are partnering with CMS on key CITIC initiatives targeting efficiency of business operations, security and proper protection of assets, and continuity of service. The position is located in Baltimore, on the west side of town near 695, Route 26, and Security Blvd. Required Skills: · Extensive experience with administration, installation and support of HP Load Runner/Performance Center testing tool version 9.5 or later. · Ability to create and troubleshoot complex Load Runner scripts using various protocols such as Ajax, Web 2.0 · Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies. · Experience in all aspects of software testing and validation; documenting and evaluating test results to determine compliance with test plans, established business processes, end-user requirements and security standard · Technical writing experience: Preparing formal testing procedure documentation including test plans, test cases, test scenarios, test results, test analysis and testing reports. · Experienced in making presentations to the customer · Experienced in training and mentoring staff · Can work in a team environment · Can work in a fast paced environment Desired Skills: · C/C++, Perl, Java developer background · Experience with SiteScope version 10+ installation / administration / customization · Project implementation background. Day-to-day: The primary responsibility is to support all aspects of the CMS Enterprise Test Center (ETC) infrastructure components, including: · Engineering, design and implementation of ETC technologies and processes in support of new project activities. · Create governance documents for testing process as stated in project requirements. · Support CMS in usage of HP LoadRunner templates and common reports while validating testing in legacy environment using new governance model. · Support a Performance Engineering methodology for all testing efforts · Conduct performance testing using HP Performance Center. · Provide script development support Any non-US citizen to work on the contract must be able to prove US residency for a period of three (3) years prior to the commencement of work on this contract.
