Position - Functional Architect : Cash, Collateral and Liquidity Technology -NYC-Long Term- Per day rate is DOE *Main Duties* - Define, complete and own Latitude program functional solution in line with CCL Operations and CCL Technology strategic goals - Communicate and represent Latitude program functional solution to all levels of audience across the program life cycle - Work continuously with program business analysts to guide analysis activities in support of the overall functional architecture. Where necessary amend the functional architecture to keep pace with discovery of new requirements - Work with Development team to present, promote and gain commitment on transfer of functional design to technical solution - Work with QA team to present, promote and gain commitment on testing of functional design - Liaise with Operations and Technology Stakeholders, presenting and seeking agreement on functional solutions - Define and complete supporting Latitude program analysis deliverables by understanding, analyzing business requirements in line with functional solution - Complete analysis artefacts to Barclays and internal team standards as well as contributing to their continual development and improvement - Establish strong working relationships with globally located Operations Change, Operations users and Stakeholders to ensure efficient requirement capture, verification and presentation Work with Team Leads and Project Managers to maintain progress visibility and timely escalation of any issues *Person Requirements* *Basic Qualifications:* - 3+ years architectural experience (inc UML, solution design, business process engineering and hierarchical decomposition) - 2+ years technical experience (inc XML , Component based Architecture, Messaging, SQL) - 2+ years experience working in large data acquisition projects - 2+ years experience working in an agile environment - 2+ years experience working on Global projects and applications supporting global user groups - 5+ years experience in investment Banking experience in either the middle or back office *Preferred Qualifications:* - Experience of working on strategic green field solutions - Experience of defining functional solutions for large data and distributed workflow type solutions - Experience in defining data dictionaries and data modelling - Experience of working with global payment and funding systems. - Experience of working on business process re-engineering projects - Experience of writing user stories and detailed acceptance criteria - *Experience of overseeing and coordinating the analysis activities of several business analysts in pursuit of a functional strategy* Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
