*Position* – Lead Rules Analyst

*Experience *– 5+ years

*Location – *Charlotte, NC

*Length* –  6 month Contract

* Pay Rate - *$DOE/hour





Targeted Skills & Competencies:

- Expert in Rule/Decision Analysis for rule based projects (ILOG, Blaze,
Drools)
- Proficient in leading project-based teams of analysts and/or rule
developers
- Experience with Agile methodologies a plus
- Experience with Decision Modeling a plus
- Experience with IBM Jazz Platform (RRC, RTC) a plus
- Proven experience in designing applications that respond to business
needs
- Desired experience with strong pension and annuity product / business
domain knowledge, including Life Insurance, Universal Life, After-Tax
Annuities, and Retirement Plans, e.g., SRA, IRA, Keoghs, 401k, 403b.Trust
Services, Educational Savings (529) Domain
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Expected Responsibilities:

- Lead end to end delivery of rules based projects
- Produce high quality deliverables and documents
- Interface with multiple IT teams & groups
- Collaborate with Integration, QA and Release management teams
- Release support
- Production Incidents analysis & resolution

Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Lead team to successful project delivery
- Drive rule discovery and analysis phases
- Facilitate sessions with SME/IT
- Define Rules methodology, templates, lifecycle, standards
- Rule grouping into packages
- Manage vocabulary
- Rule validation/testing

Suggested Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science,
Information Systems, or other related field.
• 12 plus years of IT work experience in applications programming /
analysis.
• Experience with rule based projects
•Experience leading teams for project delivery
• Excellent working knowledge of systems / applications software and the
Information Technology industry; understands their role in supporting
business requirements / technical solutions.
• Serves as point of escalation for complex issues.
• Responsible for developing and executing project plans, as well as
coordinating groups of IT staff.
