Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. * * *Looking for candidates that have experience automating database deployments in an Oracle environment*. TECHNOLOGY - Oracle 10g/11g- Oracle Architecture/Database Design- 8 years *Architecture-some exposure will help, no creating ERG diagrams or cubes - SQL Developer/TOAD- - Creating/managing schemas, tables, constraints, indexes, and materialized – 8 years - Unix shell scripting- - Perl/Python *no preference on scripting,1 of 3 acceptable Store procedures, functions, triggers- 5 years -Writing SQL scripts, implement tables, -Working on deployment scripts, new testing environments, automating those and moving that process down and work with infrastructure for QA to validate those scripts into QA - Creating automating DBs for Unix Scripts, -New development or modify existing code- both, will create code from scratch 75% development, 25% support of server/database Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
