*Position* – Integration Engineer *Experience *– 7+ years *Location – *Charlotte, NC *Length* – 6 month Contract *Pay Rate - *$DOE/hour *Targeted Skills:* • Extensive Java and J2EE development experience, preferably gained on complex multi-tier web-based business applications • Solid knowledge of CI systems and their components o Build Forge o Cruise Control o Jenkins o Maven o Ant o Artifactory or Nexus o Rational Asset Manager (RAM) o Rational Team Concert (RTC) *Expected Responsibilities:* • Extensive experience in supporting, modifying and maintaining systems and code developed by others • An ability to quickly and effectively understand and translate product and business requirements into technical solutions whilst adhering to the agreed specification • Knowledge and experience of software development processes and methodologies • Solid understanding of general concepts behind Continuous Integration system, including: o Source Control and SCM concepts and practices o Automated Build systems o Automated Deployment packaging and processing • *Tasks and Responsibilities:* An ability to apply structured thinking, simplifying complex problems into component parts, to the resolution of programming challenges • Working practices; thorough with high standards of work • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to be able to establish rapport with people at all levels • An eye for detail and accuracy, and an affinity with design issues • The ability to work in teams as well as on your own • Organizational ability and tenacity; able to think ahead in order to establish an efficient and appropriate course of action for self and others • Strong communication skills; able to get one's message understood clearly by adopting a range of styles, tools and techniques appropriate to the audience and the nature of the information • Take a proactive approach to work without close supervision • Maintain personal effectiveness, embracing challenging deadlines, change and complex problem solving, approaching tasks with motivation and commitment *Suggested Experience & Qualifications:* • Knowledge and experience of some of the following: o WebLogic Portal o HTML/Javascript/CSS, o XML o Tomcat o Linux o Windows • Experience in project-based and team-focused working practices • An understanding of Agile development methodologies Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
