A  Minneapolis, MN client is looking for PeopleSoft developers to help
catch up on development work that is behind schedule on a large PeopleSoft
9.2 project. The client's Enterprise Systems Upgrade Program (ESUP) has an
immediate need to fill approximately 15 Application Development positions
with PeopleSoft Developers.

The client  would like the work to begin as soon as possible and expect the
engagement would last through the end of June 2014. The position is for 40
hours per week, however please note that there may be occasional after
hours work as part of an on-call incident resolution team rotation.

This program is currently splitting and upgrading PeopleSoft CS/HR 8.9 to
PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.0, PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, upgrading PeopleSoft
Financials from 8.9 to 9.2 and implementing PeopleSoft 9.1 Portal. The
current PeopleTools version is 8.53 with Oracle 11 databases.

The client is looking for 3 developers with experience in FSCM, 6
developers with experience with HCM and 6 developers with experience in
Campus Solutions.
Review functional specification requirements, design, and business
processes to ensure the alignment with IT and business strategies.
Provide expertise on the resolution of the most complex technical design
and system integration problems, which often requires analysis of unique
issues and/or adapting non-traditional approaches.
Design, develop, and test code and scripts.
Write clear and concise technical design specifications according to the
current methodology.
Complete programming and unit testing tasks for complex work requests.
Evaluate/implement technical solutions related to the integration of
PeopleSoft with external systems such as web applications.
Generate and execute accurate and efficient SQL statements utilizing
explain plans when necessary.
Verify technical solutions are well documented and maintainable.
Optimize application performance using tools to analyze and optimize code.
Perform code and design reviews for development team members.
Write well-documented code in compliance with established development
standards.
Accurately prepare modifications for migration of code objects through the
current environment instances through deployment to production using
PeopleSoft migration or STAT migration tool.
Discuss and explain technical implementations to end-users, business
customers, management and other OIT departments, either verbally or in
writing.
Perform technical research on defect reports and enhancement requests to
determine the true nature of the work required.
Interpret customer requirements and map them to appropriate technical
solutions.
Provide support for business and/or systems analysts during requirements
definition meetings and creation of functional designs.
Negotiate skillfully with both internal and external groups, assuring
successful results.
Setup, configure, or mine for test data to enable customer testing.
Collaborates with functional partners, developers and support to define and
understand both functional and technical requirements for PeopleSoft
Systems.
Minimum of 5 years of technical development in PeopleSoft.
Experience with Application Tools: Application Engine, PeopleCode,
Workflow, BI Publisher, Integration Broker, Process Scheduler, PIA, Data
Mover, Security Administration, Component Interface, SQR, Application
Designer and Query Manager, PeopleTools Portal Technologies, Related
Content, Connected Query, SoaptoCI or custom handlers.
Experience in creating custom bolt-on applications, integration between
PeopleSoft and non- PeopleSoft applications.
Exceptionally skilled in PeopleTools 8.53 as well as extensive functional
background in at least one of the following products: Campus Solutions 9.0,
HCM 9.2, Finance 9.2, and Portal 9.1
