Job Title: Oracle DBA Certified Consultant (10yrs of Oracle exp) Location: Lansing, MI Duration: 12+ month NOTE:Need only 9+ yrs of exp in oracle DBA not less than that and should have Oracle DBA Certified Consultant only if the consultant is there above 9+ yrs than only forword the resume. Job Description Required Skills: This position prefers a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience and requires 7 to 10 years of IT work experience. Requires prior management, supervisory, or team leader experience. The resource needs strong Oracle PL/SQL work experience writing packages, stored procedures and functions, writing and tuning advanced SQL statements including geospatial queries, and experience with ESRI products accessing and/or editing an Oracle geodatabase. The resource should also have relational database design experience, perform data transformations & analysis and ensure data quality through development and testing. The need will exist to lead database development projects and train new SOM staff on database fundamentals. Required Experience: 10 years writing ORACLE DDL, DML, packages, stored procedures (PL/SQL) and functions 4 years in the query and/or editing of geospatial data in an ORACLE database using the ESRI product, ArcSDE. (ArcExplorer, ArcIMS) 8 years developing conceptual, logical and physical data models (using data modeling software) for an RDBMS 8 years accepting data files in multiple formats, transforming the data to meet business needs and loading it into an ORACLE database 4 years as a technical team leader for projects involving extensive database work and data manipulation Possess ORACLE DBA Certification Additional skills: That are considered highly desirable (but not required): Oracle Spatial Network and/or Topology Model experience ESRI ARC*GIS 10 desktop/server Business Objects – Universe Definition ..........................................................................................
