Client has another testing requirement. This time it’s an automation framework developer. We’re looking for c++/C# test automation framework skills with an emphasis on TV media automation. Duration: 6 Months Location: Mountain View, CA Rate: $45/hr *Position Name*: Test automation framework developer *Status*: Open *Scope of Work*: An automation Framework developer with a passion for TV and audio/video media needed to help ship high quality TV centric applications and experience. In this client server centric role you will be involved in automating using existing framework, enhancing the framework, analyze results, troubleshoot automation failures and fix failing tests. The position demands strong coding and analytical skills. The successful candidates will be required to work across multiple disciplines in an agile development environment, and help deliver rich, exciting features at high quality. Responsibilities • Strong coding skills in C++ or C# • Ability to enhance existing automation framework for supporting new features. •Work with a team of software developers and testers on Client Server to test their TV solutions and applications. • Write test scripts and test helper APIs to enable automation testing of new features • Fix failing tests and ensure automated test suites have high stability •Troubleshoot E2E to perform root cause analysis of problems: run, manage and monitor test cases to effectively diagnose problems Technical Skills • Coding experience particularly in C#.net with Visual Studio • Understanding of Client Server E2E systems • Experience working in an Agile development environment • Application development experience • Experience with test automation framework experience and white box testing techniques • 3+ years white box test experience spanning multiple ship cycles • Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and disciplined engineering skills • Understanding of test methodologies is a plus (performance, stress, scale, functional, unit, code coverage, static analysis, etc.) • Excellent communicator *Local candidates preferred* Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
