I have a 3-6 month contract with a strong probability of extension in the Minneapolis, MN area that I thought might be of interest to you. *Eden Prairie, MN* *3-6 month contract * *Rate: DOE* Looking for mid to sr. level candidate to help with some enhancements to the Optum Capital Planning Database. The key skill sets this person should have is strong backend SQL dev skills, experience with SSIS and also SSAS, strong ETL Skills and also some experience with front end web services. Basically they need to know how to VBA code, call the web and call the backend. Experience in a financial setting is helpful, not required. Need to have strong backend skills but should have some web services experience as well. They will be working on a small team and contract duration is 14 weeks. This is supporting the Optum Capital management group and there could be potential for another project to pop up for this person to move over to. Basicly here is what they are doing: Taking an excel spreadsheet that has 2 buttons to make it do two different things: 1. Runs SSIS packages, and then load another spread sheet into SQL Server DB 2. Once loaded they need to do analysis of the cube, do pivots off of this, refreshes of the cubes They will also be working with an off shore resource and a team member from the finance team.
