Position: BODS Developer *Candidates must have experience pulling data from BW* *Candidates must be local to the Texas area* *Greencard or Citizen candidates only* *Rate: DOE hr* Client Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 2-3 month project *Candidates must be able to start with less than a two weeks’ notice!!* The BODS/DS is responsible for developing high performance data extract including:- Interface with the business to understand their integration needs (B2B).- Document processes.- Support production jobs.- Assist the business by helping to determine the processes.- Load Legacy data into BW.- Use SAP Business Objects Data Services Designer to extract, transform and load master data and transactional data.- Deliver data mappings from source(s) to target(s). - Write SQL functions and procedures for complex transformations using data workflows, embedded data flows, multi-source, multi format data flows. *Job Requirements *Education requirements: - Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science *Experience requirements*: Typically requires 3-5 years development experience to include - 7+ years of experience in ETL Processes, with 5+ years of hands on experience with SAP Business Object Data Services (BODS).- 2+ years of experience in SAP outside of the BW Space (other modules).- 3+ years of experience with multi-dimensional data marts or data warehouses (OLAP).- 3+ years of experience with Oracle Databases.- 5+ years of experience with DBMS. *Experience with the following areas are preferred: * - Experience with BODS admin console, designer, job and server manager tools is required. - Experience with Business Object Platform 4.0 - Experience with complex transforms, multi-source data flows, data workflows, parameterized data flows, embedded data flows is required - Very good knowledge of OLTP and OLAP models - Understanding of servers, networking, security, monitoring (Solution Manager, etc.)- Must have excellent writing and communications. This position will be interfacing directly with the business on a daily basis.- Strong analytical skills solving problems outside the norm challenges- Work experience within the Business Intelligence domain, specifically in BW is preferred.
