*Job Title: Software Test Lead in the Production Enhancement organization. (QA)* *Location: Houston* *Max rate: $50/hr. DOE* *Working hours: M-F 8-5 pm.* *Job Responsibilities: * § Report on *QA deliverables and metrics*, including defect reports and QA exit/turnover documentation. § Validates test strategy, design, and execution is within established guidelines – May serve as an advisor or be accountable for peer/test reviews § Encourages and ensure team is in compliance with established software testing standards § Provides visibility into end-to-end product quality – Provides input into QA Health status of releases/projects § Coach/mentoring software testers on the team to help perform the Software Tester role successfully. § Ensures team is evaluating software development for Invention disclosure [IP] § Serve as liaison between on-shore and off-shore software testing resources § Negotiates the scope of testing within iteration cycles and releases § Provides SWAGs for Release Level Planning Purposes § Identify and coordinate automation activities § Leads defect Triage Process within the Scrum Team. § Articulates testing implications of different solutions § Facilitates setup and configuration of test environment § Coordinate test activities to support patches § Works closely with Product Specialists/End-Users to understand the Application and how it is used. *High Level- Technical Skill Requirements: * § Understands Client\Server Set-up in a Windows Framework § Demonstrates a familiarity working multi-user systems. § Demonstrates familiarity with *messaging concepts* and techniques. § Demonstrates familiarity with networking tools such as Wireshark and Fiddler. Also includes familiarity with web services. § Demonstrates familiarity with database concepts and running *SQL queries.* § Demonstrates familiarity with active directory security concepts.
