Good afternoon, I am still in need of a candidate who is essentially a java developer but also has great experience with QA/QE. We need someone that has experience with Junit and TestNG, no UI testing. This candidate will be testing backend web services, and must have the ability to write their own java code. Please see below and let me know if you have any questions. *Duration:* 5+ Months *Title:* Software Quality Engineer *Responsibilities:* - Testing lead responsible for design, develop documentation and execution of automated testing activities for shared Data Platform. - Responsible for ensuring all deliverables are of high quality and result in an end-to-end customer experience with a high degree of compliance with business and technical requirements, software architecture/design documents, and product and process documentation - Actively participate in defining test strategies and tasks, estimating work and monitoring progress against milestones. - Partner with the development team in all project phases to ensure deliverables satisfy requirements and achieve desired level of quality. - Engage other quality engineers for feedback on testing strategies, new test framework designs, and especially for code reviews on the implementation of test code - Influence the inclusion of testability requirements during design and development phases. - Contribute to continuous process improvements to increase efficiency on both the project team as well as in the QA organization. - Participate in design and code reviews - 10+ years software quality engineering experience with a thorough understanding of object oriented principles - and design patterns. - 10+ years hands-on experience with Java and J2EE technologies testing and testing automation - of Java web services - Hands-on experience in testing of enterprise service bus, messaging framework (JMS), web services (e.g. REST, SOAP, JSON). - Solid understanding and working experience of XML and related technologies (e.g. XSD, XSL, and XQuery). - Experience building automation frameworks and testing multi-tier web service applications. - Experience with J2EE (Servlets, Web Services, EJBs, Spring Framework, JAAS and AOP) and JUnitEE. - Experience with agile software practices, early defect removal techniques, and test driven development. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills required - Must have strong analytical skills, be decisive and detail-oriented as well as thrive in a dynamic work environment - Self directed and highly motivated - B.S.
