*Job Title: **Testing Consultant* *Location: Cupertino, CA* *Duration: 6-12 Months* *Job Description:* · Web Services Testing, API Testing, Service Oriented Architecture (SOAP) Testing, XML, WSDL, REST, JSONWeb services test automation development , xCode, Object C, iOS frameworkContinuous Integration Setup and Maintenance Experience in Mobile Application platform, Mobile computing, Mobile application testing. · Able to partner with senior management on the client side and engage them from test automation / design / development / architectural perspective.Design and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures. · Track testing by test scenarios, test cases and test steps. Report on these items.Manage software defects tracking, reporting, follow-up, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to management. · Plan test schedules in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. · Coordinate and manage *Skill and Experience Details:* *Web Testing(L3):* Should have good knowledge & concepts of UI validations, GUI features etc. Concepts of Globalisation and Localization testing will be an added advantage *Application Testing(L3)*: Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like UnitIntegration, System, Acceptance, Regression testingand should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.Should understand Test Plans, Requirement TraceabilityMatrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliabilityanalysis effectively with DFA tool. *SOA Testing(L3)*: Ability to understand the various SOA Testing types relate to Functional orNon-Functional actvities or both .Should be able to prepare the 'Individualtest strategy for the related 'Functional or Non-Functional SOA testingactivities'.Able to prepare 'High level test scenarios' .Analyzes test resultsto ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consultswith development engineers in resolution of problems. Works on problems ofcomplex scope, through extensive usage of standard concepts & principles. Worksas a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance with independentplanning & execution responsibilities.
