Job Description:The consultant MUST HAVE the following experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related
field and at least 4 years of IT Technical Engineer experience, or at
least 8 years of IT Technical Engineer experience in lieu of a degree
· Minimum 5 years of hands-on DB2 DBA experience with IBM DB2 z/OS
· Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in SAP Environment
· DB2 on z/OS / zSeries and SAP – technical and leadership
capabilities
· SAP on Z/Linux experience
· Recent proven solid experience in DB2 V9 / V10, including LOB
processing, partitioning large tables, stored procedures, DB2 Connect, and
DB2 Utilities
· Knowledgeable in using NetWeaver, Database Tools (CA or IBM),
Detector, and navigating SAP with various T-codes and Menus
· Understand High Availability requirements in a SAP/DB2 z/OS
settings
· Capable of tuning active dynamic SQL and finding expensive SQL
queries using DSC
· Excellent understanding of monitoring and tuning in SAP ECC
landscapes
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
· Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and ability to
multi-task
· Strong customer focus and management of client expectations;
ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence
in the IT group’s knowledge.
