*Please send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]> * Job Title: .Net Developer Location: Long Island City, Queens, NY, Duration: 6 Months In person Interview Job Description: NYC DOHMH is seeking 1 .NET Application Developer (Programmer Analyst II) to develop a secure public-facing, web-based reporting tool provides the management and distribution online of web-reports for Syndromic Surveillance. These reports will be available to staff at NYC Facilities partners (Hospital and clinic administrators) to monitor electronic reporting in accordance with NYC Health code and Meaningful Use compliance. The Syndromic Reporting Portal application will be developed in .NET and will allow data managers and administrators to (1)add Reports to the system from SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SharePoint or other web-based reporting tools used in the Agency to visualize and report on Syndromic Surveillance data. The interface must be able to accept and display a variety of different types of reports with different parameter sets and user access. In addition, this application will authenticate the user, list the reports the user is allowed to view, pass the parameters needed to run the report selected and display the report. The application will log visits to the site and the reports viewed by each user during a session. An administrative panel will be needed to manage the available reports and set permissions. In the administrative back end, various internal users and agencies should be able to submit reports to the system, determine when they are released, configure access and manage the report display.
