*Job Title: BI ETL Architect* Location: Chicago, IL *Duration: 1+ Year Contract* *Note : Must be Local to IL or near BY * *Job Responsibilities* The BI Architect will play a key role on Business Analytics Technology team. Translate requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions, including ETLs, dimensional models and SSAS/tabular Cubes within the Microsoft BI stack. Working with the BI development team, design and develop the appropriate solutions by providing architectural direction and know-how. Identify appropriate presentation layer for projects including PowerPivot, PowerView and SSRS. Research emerging technologies and BI techniques, evaluate for applicability, and create practical deployment plans. Recognize opportunities and deploy solutions for improving business decisions including predictive modeling and big data analysis techniques. Optimize solutions for performance and management. Ensure best practices and standards are followed in development and deployment. Candidates must have 10+ years of development experience in the Business Intelligence space. Must have design and delivery experience with several BI projects and a solid understanding of dimensional database design. Candidates should have knowledge of best practices across the entire BI stack. Should have at least 2 years of advanced development experience in SSAS/tabular.
