NJ / NC - (4) Oracle DBA (Senior) Charlotte, NC Job Duration:6 Months Pay Rate:$50.00 Per Hour Published Description: NJ / NC - (4) Oracle DBA (Senior) (14509) Targeted Skills & Competencies: Oracle 11gR2 RAC, ASM and DataGuard administration and configuration * Expert backup/recovery skills with Oracle RMAN * Experience with Oracle Real Application Testing * Strong performance tuning skill leveraging AWR and SQL profiling * Experience with supporting Oracle PeopleSoft Financial and Human Resource/Payroll Application * Ability to work as part of a team and manage assigned tasks independently Responsible for analyzing and developing complex logical database designs and data models in support of Information Systems requirements. Responsible for identification and resolution of information flow. Resolves data redundancy and facilitates data normalization and rationalization. Evaluates and implements new initiatives on technology and process improvement. Develops database and warehousing designs across multiple platforms and computing environments. Serves as SME in all aspects of data management and database design. Serves as initial point of escalation for all processing and operational issues. Serves as SME in all aspects of DBMS software. Provides mentoring and training to junior staff. Assists management in coordinating business area activities and balancing workload. May design, implement and improve workflows, as well as assign projects. Leads interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project initiatives.
