I have an opening for a SAP Project Manager in Houston, TX . Candidates must have a degree, PMP Certification and at least 3 years of communication. Must have great communication. We are targeting $DOE/hr all inclusive. Preferably local candidates or willing to work onsite in Houston, TX for contract duration. Location: Houston, TX Duration: Contract 1 year Job Title: SAP project Manager *Job Description:* The IT project manager plans and manages medium-to-large sized systems projects of moderate-to-high complexity, and ensures project results contribute positive business value and meet agreed on scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives. *Education:* · Bachelor’s degree required. Prefer a degree in computer science or information technology, quality assurance, or equivalent. · Advanced degree preferred · Project Management institute (PMI) certification (PMP) preferred *Experience:* · Minimum seven (7) years of project management experience in medium to large scale projects over $1 million dollars · Minimum of 3 years of SAP Project Management experience *Additional Knowledge, Skills, Certifications:* · Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines · Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients · Extensive knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods · In-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and automated project planning tools required · Ability to work in a team environment · Active project management experience using Microsoft Project 2010 · SharePoint 2010 experience as a Project Manager · Microsoft Server 2010 experience preferred · At least two (2) years of experience working in SAP within the last 5 calendar years · Experience in developing RFQ/RFPs, managing vendor services and evaluating software · Experience at working both independently and in team-oriented, collaborative environments · Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace, and execute with limited information and ambiguity · Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and time lines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities · Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively · Sound business and technical acumen Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
