*Please send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]> * Job title: Sybase DBA Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6+ Months Direct Client Position The role on offer is for a Level 3 Database Administrator (DBA) who will act as a key liaison between Engineering and Operational SME's as well as key service consumer stakeholders. This role is crucial in delivering the next generation of operational capability required to meet the firm's business and operational strategies. The L3 DBA will perform standard operational roles including supporting, upgrading and maintaining the database fleet, whilst also providing feedback on the health of the environment and assisting in executing change-related work to the production environment. Key aspects to this role are a proactive mindset, solid communication skills and a "can do" attitude that drives ownership and accountability - allowing the operational group to lift its service levels.
