Here is Job Description: PHP Developer St. Louis, MO 6+ Months *Must be - GC or Citizen Only!!* Responsibilities Key team member on the entire process of developing a new content manager from spec-ing out requirements, design, code, testing and implementation. Assist with the maintenance and ongoing development of all public facing websites. Responsible for working on the software design as well as building, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and re-factoring of new and existing code. Handle assigned tickets in an agile development environment using a weekly sprint schedule. Requirements Should have working knowledge of all current industry-related web languages and software 3+ years experience in PHP applications in a UNIX/Linux environment. Strong Object Oriented Programming skills. Should have a basic understanding of Design Patterns. Working experience with a modern PHP MVC Framework (Zend Framework, Symphony, CodeIgniter) with at least one live project. Zend Framework Certification a Plus. 3+ years experience with SQL. PL/SQL experience a plus. 3+ years experience in JavaScript Experience with jQuery and AngularJs Proficiency with HTML 5 and CSS 3, responsive design experience a plus. Experience writing test suites using PHPUnit and Selenium. Experience writing and generating docs using PHPDocumentor or Docblox. Be able to write scalable applications that will span multiple load-balanced servers. Candidate must be confident in their skills, be willing to advocate for their approach and yet, collaborate and negotiate with other strong-minded individuals. Must be consultative and very good at figuring out solutions to technical challenges. Motivated self starter, with a natural curiosity of programming with strong work ethic. Must be willing to work with, and assist in the development, of less experienced developers.
