Looking forward to hear from you... *Title: Sr. IT Program Manager* *Location: Pleasanton, CA* *Duration: 6 Months* *Rate: $/hr on C2C All Incl* *Description:* Customer facing position which understands project requirements for capital and operating expenses, plans capital acquisition, prepares business cases for new capital, and tracks execution of spending against plan. *Essential Functions:* · May establish IT cross-functional task forces. · Directs the development of comprehensive and strategic business cases with cost/benefit/ROI dimensions of proposed IT projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions. · Presents completed business cases to leadership for approvals. · Selects or develops a customized methodology for the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions that support client business processes and functional requirements. · Evaluates alternative operational efficiencies in the technology infrastructure arena. · Prepares appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information. · Consults with senior client sponsors and other KP leadership to inform and promote the project's successful development and implementation within the organization. · Makes recommendations for improvements to KP standards/methodologies. · Provides on-going communication. · May develop project plans for larger projects including enterprise wide IT initiatives. · Identifies and coordinates with project managers and implements schedule deadlines as appropriate. · Manages shared resource demands. · Provides on-going project management and status reporting at all levels. · Provides advice and input into the project plan. · Provides knowledge transfer as appropriate. · Acts as a resource for lower-level staff. *Basic Qualifications:* · Bachelor's degree in related field. · A minimum of 8 - 12 years of experience in documenting requirements, analyzes business process, and develops business cases to support IT solutions. · Advanced knowledge (broad expertise or unique knowledge) of policies, practices and systems. · Develops advanced concepts, techniques, and standards. · Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts. · Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. *Preferred Qualifications:* · Portfolio, Programs and Projects Finance/Budget. · PMO Management in the context of large capital / infrastructure programs. · An MBA. · Experience with capital and budge forecasting. · Minimum number of years of experience required 8 - 12 *Top 3 - 5 Daily responsibilities:* 1. Publish Capital Pipeline Reports 2. Manage & Coordinate Capital Requisition Approval & Reviews 3. Support Budget Planning & Forecasting process – data collection and consolidation 4. Reconciliation with GL, Asset Mgmt., Procurement Systems *Top 3 - 5 Required Skills:* 1. Proficiency in MS OFFICE suite – excel, PowerPoint, Visio, word, MS project. 2. Analytical Ability. 3.
