*Role Description: *

PS Benefits Parallel Testing Lead

Responsible for managing/driving the parallel testing reconciliation
process of benefit deductions for each Health Ministry prior to their
go-live. The benefits parallel testing team members will report to the Team
Lead. This position includes, but is not limited to:

Partially driving the kick-off meeting for parallel testing (payroll
simulation) for benefits

Customizing the approach for each HM and training the HMs on the recon
process for benefits

Defining the process that is specific to an HM, if different

Defining/communicating roles and responsibilities across the HMs and within
the core benefits team

Managing the recon process from beginning to end for all benefits

Root causing the differences in benefits

Managing defect

Making benefit configuration changes to resolve defects working with the
benefits production support team

Managing issues and risks associated with completing recon on time

Resolving differences and communicating those differences where it's
acceptable

Assisting with staffing if applicable

Training and providing guidance to team members

Reviewing results and obtaining sign-off

In addition, this role will include overall benefit functional system
support as needed including configuration, process, communication, policy,
issue resolution, compliance, writing/running queries, executing benefit
tests and supporting the HMs and MSC during go-live / cutover.



*SKILLS*:

Application expert in PeopleSoft Benefits

Experience in PeopleSoft full life cycle project implementation

Experience in PeopleSoft parallel testing

Expert in Benefits

Experience with Kronos and/or PS Payroll for NA a bonus

Ability to run software tests in PeopleSoft to produce payroll

Understanding and drive the end to end reconciliation process of PeopleSoft
benefit deductions

Ability to translate current processes and policies into PeopleSoft
solutions

PS HCM database functional expertise in understanding data

Ability to write SQLs and/or PS Query

Understanding of environments at a high level

Ability to configure PeopleSoft Benefits

Critical thinking, strong analytical skills and business acumen needed to
make decisions, solve problems and manage time

Ability to manage and direct resources

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making skills required

Ability to grasp technological opportunities and apply them to business
opportunities and requirements (and vice versa)

Flexible and open to change

Proficient in all MicroSoft Products: WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, and VISIO.
