Applications Performance Engineer *Must have Dynatrace!* Client is seeking to fill the newly created role of Application Performance Tools Engineer. This position will work closely with the following teams: - Network, Infrastructure - Database - Application Engineering - Development Operations. Here is a detailed description of the role/responsibilities: Key Accountabilities * Development Operations: o Identify & prioritize software performance issues to improve code base performance, reduce resource consumption and shorten request latency. o Use DynaTrace to create application monitoring dashboards, reports & alerts for production operations. o Provide for end-to-end root cause analysis and reporting on production incidents. * Performance Analysis o Create application performance models & identify key-performance indicators o Identify & Report application performance across production applications through weekly reporting to Executive Teams and Domain Leads. * Capacity Planning o Design tests to determine scaling & cost analysis across all production applications o Run capacity and performance experiments to determine scaling and utilization parameters for various service tiers. o Create capacity planning, cost analysis models & roadmaps for weekly reporting to Executive Teams and Domain Leads. o Identify & Prioritize infrastructure related capacity issues work with the appropriate teams to analyze & provide remediation planning.
