Job Description: As a UAT Test Analyst you will be responsible for working closely with product owners and Agile development team. You will need to ensure agreed business requirements are tested and delivered in line with agile development cycles. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Position Description: UAT Test analyst for Wholesale Client Onboarding Major Programs Tools & Technology 1. Working closely with product owners and development team to write test script. 2. Working closely with Test manager and other stakeholders to deliver in line with Agile methodology. 3. The preparation of test scripts and dependent test data 4. Overall responsibility of owning an area of work and manage it end to end. 5. Design, development and Peer-review of end user test cases, to ensure a high level of functionality coverage; 6. Work closely with end users to support user testing. 7. Responsible for reporting and following a defect through to closure in proactive manner. - At least 5 - 7 years experience in financial services technology test management. We will be ok with 5-7 years of total experience; however 2-3 years of financial service experience is must. - At least 2-3 years of experience working in agile environment (Scrum/XP/Lean/RAD). - Must - Good understanding of testing under agile development methodology. - Must - Strong analytical skills to analyse requirements quickly and execute test plan around it. - Must - Experience working with large scale compliance and regulatory driven projects, preferably KYC, AML or Client Onboarding. - Nice to Have - Experience of exploratory testing and working with user stories. - Must Have - Experience of working within Test Driven Development environment. (If someone has worked on Agile, I expect to see this in their experience. However it may not be obvious in the CV) - Experience of working within BDD (Behavior Driven Development) environment. - Nice to Have - Good experience of working closely with end users and delivering training and showcases. - Nice to have prior experience/However should have necessary skills to do that - Passion for the agenda: strong desire to make a quick impact to the organization through successful project - Ability to self manage the work and to effectively communicate with team members. - Must - Partnership and relationship management: must have ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with numerous teams and key stakeholders - Must - Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. Ability to present concise, direct and timely communications to related stakeholders.- Must - Knowledge of ALM tools like Jira, HP-ALM etc.- Must have same or similar tools (This is not exhaustive list) - Knowledge of writing specifications in BDD tools like Cucumber, Concordia, Fitnesse - Nice to Have Soft Skills - - Have an open attitude towards sharing ideas and knowledge - A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through - Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, presentation and production of documentation appropriate to an audience - The ability to shift perspective from high level 'Big Picture' to low-level detail - Good prioritization and time management - The ability to present and absorb complex ideas quickly and accurately - The ability to provide solutions to a tight deadline - The ability to work within a large team - The ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Ability to work effectively as a member of a team - A self confident and authoritative manner EXTRA NOTES: 1.
