Our studio needs a strong, versatile technical writer who is passionate
about technology, games, and entertainment to work on documenting studio
policies.



*Responsibilities:*

Your primary responsibility will be documenting studio policies and
practices which will support studio operations. You will be responsible for
delivering high-quality, employee-focused technical content--utilizing
OneNote as your primary documentation repository. In this role you will
create a common look and feel for all documentation regarding studio
processes and best practices across multiple topics.



*The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate the following
qualifications/qualities:*

·         Strong customer focus skills.

·         The ability to think in creative, critical, and innovative ways
about content formats, to think strategically about documentation problems,
and to take the initiative to present new ideas.

·         The communication and collaboration skills needed to work closely
with developers, program managers, software testers, developer support
engineers.

·         Comfortable with taking corporate policies and making them
applicable in a game studio environment.

·         A working knowledge of the Microsoft Manual of Style for
Technical Publications is a plus.

·         Experience: 3-4 years' experience in technical documentation.

·         Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

·         Ability to learn new applications, tools, technologies, and
processes quickly and independently



*Qualifications:*

·         A B.A./B.S degree in a related field is preferred.

·         We require writing samples that demonstrate clarity, accuracy,
and conciseness.

*Job Description:*

Our studio is looking for a strong, versatile technical writer who is
passionate about technology and video games to work on documentation
targeted around our many processes of game development.



*Responsibilities:*

Your primary responsibility will be documenting the tools and pipelines for
our game development team. You will be responsible for delivering
high-quality technical content to the team in written form, video tutorials
and any other formats as needed. In this role you will create a common look
and feel for all documentation regarding our game development processes  as
well as best practices across multiple topics.



*In this role, you will:*

·         Create a common look and feel for all documentation regarding
technical processes and best practices across many disciplines.

·         Create documentation for our tools and workflows where they
pertain to both the end user (Artists/ Designers/Project Managers etc.) as
well as the software developers who maintain them.

·         Assist the team in making the documentation more discoverable
utilizing standard search methods.



*The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate the following
qualifications/qualities:*

·         Strong customer focus skills.

and to take the initiative to prototype new ideas.

·         The communication and collaboration skills needed to work closely
with developers, program managers, and artists.

·         Experience with existing documentation software (i.e. OneNote,

·         Comfortable with reading XML, C#, Python is strongly desired.

·         A working knowledge of the Microsoft Manual of Style for
Technical Publications is a plus.

·         Experience: 1-3 years' experience in in creating software
documentation for a technical audience

·         Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

·         Ability to learn new applications, tools, technologies, and
processes quickly and independently



*Qualifications:*

·         A B.A./B.S degree in Computer Science, Computer Art, Technical
Communications, or similar field is preferred.

·         We require writing samples that demonstrate clarity, accuracy,
conciseness, and the ability to write for technical audiences.
