The developer will work closely with Solution Architecture and the Data Governance Lead to implement the MDM solution. Application architect or principal developer for Master Data Management applications. Accountable for ensuring the Master Data Management design decisions and details designs adhere to the architectural strategy and vision. Responsible for driving the MDM application development through design and code reviews. Partners with the Solution Architect, Business Analysts, Data Architect, and Development Team to realize business requirements through the delivery of the MDM Application solution. Manages design decisions, gaps, and opportunities and participates in both new development and ongoing enhancement and extension of Master Data Management applications. The MDM Tool SME role provides Informatica MDM support and subject matter expertise to the development and operations team. This role is the go-to role with regards to the Informatica MDM product. This role has a very deep understanding of all aspects of the product to assist configurators, analysts, modelers, developers, and QA resources. This role partners with the MDM System Engineer (ISD) and the strategic vendors to drive product issues, features, and upgrades. This role is based on the IM Integration Lead Roles for Business Objects and Information Server. The MDM Configurator role specializes in configuring the Informatica MDM Hub to realize Master Data Management applications. A large portion of this role's responsibility is configuring the master data domain database schema based on the logical data model. This involves creating the physical data model within the Informatica MDM and configuring the data model and access to the data for the service layer, IDD, and custom application layers. This role works with MDM Engineer and Security Administrator to setup and define RBAC for master data. The role also works closely with the DBA to ensure the db environment is configured correctly. *Responsibilities:* - Demonstrated ability to install and configure Informatica MDM solution; - Serve as a key participant in the development of solutions to meet the needs of the MDM program; - Build out best practices regarding data staging, data cleansing, and data transformation routines within the Informatica MDM solution; - Define and build best practices regarding creating business rules within the Informatica MDM solution; - Partner with the Project/Delivery Manager to oversee MDM project teams through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including monitoring and guiding all MDM tasks. Provide direction and monitoring of work progress including weekly status on deliverables. Deliver solutions with predictability, consistency, repeatability, and high quality. - Assists with the ongoing conceptualization, development and implementation of an enterprise MDM solution architecture with governance and integration - Provide expert knowledge of Member (Customer), Drug (Product), and Provider Master Data Management (MDM) strategies and best practices. - Assist with master data schema development, business rules, master data design and migration processes for the enterprise. - Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture to provide standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring master data issues including data convergence, data standards and data synchronization. - Responsible for on-call support of deployed solutions; - Other duties as assigned *Minimum Qualifications*: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; - 5+ years of development experience in data and integration; - 3+ years experience with the Informatica MDM product; - Informatica expertise regarding how Informatica MDM integrates with other technologies (DataStage, Quality Stage, Information Analyzer, BPM) - Ability to escalate and manage tool related bugs with Informatica; - Experience in ETL development using various technologies including Informatica, Data Stage, SAS EG, Unix, or Java, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry; - MDM, SDLC, Physical Data Model, Informatica MDM Overview, MDM-Data Flow, MDM Reference Architecture, Software Architecture, EAI, EII, ETL Patterns, JEE, Web Services - MDM, Physical Data Model, Informatica MDM, MDM - Data Flow, MDM - Configuration, MDM - Data Director, MDM - Data Manager, MDM - Merge Manager, MDM - Hierarchy Manager, MDM - Metadata Manager, MDM - Security Access Manager, MDM - Batch Jobs, MDM - IDD, MDM - Extension, MDM - Installation - MDM, Data Model , Physical Data Model, Informatica MDM, MDM - Data Flow, MDM - Configuration, MDM - Data Director, MDM - Data Manager, MDM - Merge Manager, MDM - Hierarchy Manager, MDM - Metadata Manager, MDM - Security Access Manager, MDM - Batch Jobs, MDM - IDD *Preferred Qualifications:* - Working knowledge of data models, databases, and the overall data flow architecture in the data warehouse environment; - Ability to dialogue clearly and effectively with business, IT stakeholders, testers, and developers to gain understanding and resolution; - Ability to quickly work through opposing views and reach consensus and clarity of understanding; - Team player motivation to deploy best approach to development while achieving "win-win" results; - Proven ability to document thoroughly - Self-learner and ability to work independently.
