This is a Contract to Hire position.

Position: Business Analyst CRM Peoplesoft
Location: Bradenton, FL
Duration: 3-6 months (possible CTH)

NOTE: STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS HIGHLY PREFERRED
The Business Analyst, CRM (BA) works within an application focused team to
development, and support of our
customer relationship management (CRM) applications including
conversions/migrations and integration with
related applications (e.g., PeopleSoft HCM, proprietary applications, and
Salesforce.com).
The BA is responsible for the analysis, design, definition, and testing of
the necessary requirements to support
system development efforts. The BA elicits requirements from members of the
business community,
transforms them into system specifications and manages all requirements
activities throughout the software
development lifecycle process.
Assesses production support issues and either resolves issues or determines
whether development
resources need to be engaged.
Develops an understanding of the business and technical operations of the
company through
maintenance and enhancements to the existing products and features and
production support.
Evaluates business requirements for simple to moderately complex needs
against out-of-the box
software solutions, determining how to implement through configuration of
the software and/or
identifying where the software requires a development effort.
Collects and analyzes business and user needs and working collaboratively
with the project team to
ensure requirements are clear, unambiguous, detailed, accurate and
verifiable/testable
Identifies and documents business scenarios for testing, validates the
system meets the need and
determines the most appropriate response to defects.
Identifies opportunities for operational efficiency improvements through
system configuration; identifies
the impacts of change being introduced
Supports business change by preparing high quality functional documentation
including process flows,
user guides/manuals, training, implementation checklists, FAQs, etc.
Coordinates user testing with stakeholders
Collaborates with the project team to identify and manage risks and issues
Participates in the evolution of company level best practices, standards,
and policies as it related to
software development.
Assists in the preparation of deployment/implementation plans and
transition of knowledge to
application production support teams
Other responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion

Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role in the
information technology field or
equivalent experience
Functional Subject Matter Expertise
Good understanding of software development life cycle stages and key
activities
Experienced in defining, documenting, and translating business requirements
and user needs into
system requirements in one or more of user interfaces (screen, and GUI
designs), reports, data
conversions, interfaces to other applications, (including customizations to
and interfaces between
applications), exception handling, security and other non-functional
requirements (e.g., performance,
system availability, etc.).
Experience with the Help Desk, Support and/or Field Services modules is
preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of Multichannel Framework including CTI Integration
preferred but not required
Working knowledge of ERMS (Email Response Management System) preferred but
not required
Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0 preferred but not required.
Experience with Agile methods is a plus

Technical:
Able to do basic data analysis by writing basic queries in query tools such
as PS Query Manager,
SQL/SQL*Plus, Toad, SQL Navigator
Practical knowledge of PeopleTools
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft security as relates to PeopleSoft CRM
