We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our highly successful professional services firm. The person selected to fill this position must be a responsible, results-oriented individual with a desire for detail and achievement. The right individual will be an innovative thinker who consistently reaches for new and unusual solutions to business challenges. Specifically, the right individual for this role will be a senior functional consulting professional with deep experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and exposure to Federal agencies. In this role, you'll be responsible for the successful implementation of AX-based systems. The Dynamics AX Technical Consultant is responsible for the following: * Customer Satisfaction o Have regular touch with all active/engaged customers o Provide functional guidance for requirements and system design o Lead effort to setup and install AX-based systems o Execute satisfaction surveying and respond as defined by plan * Team Development and Engagement Compliance o Work closely with business development and capture teams for customer planning o Maintain AX certification o Articulate vision of post implementation success * Operational Efficiency o Manage team to financial and reference-ability success Qualifications * 10+ years of experience in practice area consulting delivery, including customer solution development and presales * Deep technical understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX and related technical tools, including Dynamics AX certification and related technologies certifications * Proven project success in AX-based implementation methodology, including the ability to architect complex, AX-based solutions * Technical/Other Skills: X++ (AX language), VB.NET, SOA, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Office * 3+ years' experience using Microsoft Sure Step Dynamics implementation methodology Skills and Experience * Strong consulting/professional services skills and experience * Demonstrated success in engaging clients around functional requirements and design * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong administrative skills Education * Minimum BS/BA or equivalent experience Federal agency experience preferred, but not required.
