*looking for a senior level resource experienced in the implementation of
SAP Apparel and Footwear Solutions*. Responsible for assessing the
client's needs and leading the collection, analysis, document, and
coordination of a client's business requirements within the primary area of
Order Management.
Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:
- Participate in short and long-term planning sessions with the business
partners to implement process improvement.
- Collaborates with business partners in order to provide technical
solutions to meet user needs and influence strategic initiatives.
- Partners with business leaders to develop an integrated IT and
business strategy.
- Promotes an understanding of IT roles, processes and activities to the
business units.
- Manages the development of the business technology plan for functional
area within Domain.
- Directs the development and implementation of integrated IT
initiatives to support the business strategy.
- Integrates high-quality services at optimal cost across multiple
businesses and customers.
- Directs the development and implementation of technologies to improve
the performance of multiple business processes and increase profitability.
- Manages vendor relationships to maximize value to the business.
Negotiates simple to moderately complex contracts.
- Contributes to and influences the development of standards and changes
to systems/applications. Provides technical and business leadership and
expertise.
- Allocates resources (budget and people) and manages the development
and delivery of training for internal and external IT users to ensure
productive use of existing and new systems.
- Ensures adherence to applications security procedures, change control
guidelines and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
- Responsible for having an in depth knowledge and understanding of
business processes as they relate to:
- Order Processing in an apparel industry
- EDI - Retail, Vendor, Banking, Logistics, etc.
- Vendor Managed Inventory/Ordering
- Billing - Accounts Receivables and Payables
- Logistics/Routing - incoming and outgoing shipments
- B2B Platforms
- Global Data Synchronization
- Vendor Catalogs
