*Position Title: Senior Project Manager *

Project Manager with Guidewire (MUST) Experience
*Position Summary *
The Sr. Project Manager ensures that the desired product is delivered by
the project team within a specific timeline, scope and budget. Responsible
for simultaneously managing multiple large scale and/or complex projects.
*Essential Job Functions % of Time *
* Establish and maintain relationships with
stakeholders 10%
* Develop the project charter, management plan
and all related component plans 20%
* Identify, monitors and mitigate project risk
10%
* Identify, respond to and resolve project
issues and changes 15%
* Provide accurate and timely reporting of
project metrics 10%
* Gather project resources and assign tasks and
responsibilities 15%
* Ensure completion of the project within the
approved constraints 15%
* Cordially and professionally interact with
subordinates, customers, vendors, superiors and peers N/A
* Regular attendance at work on a full-time
schedule of at least 8 hours and 40 hours per week N/A
* Various marginal functions 5%
*Qualifications/Competencies *
*Education: *
BS degree in information technologies with specific emphasis on project
management; or equivalent combination of education, training, and
experience.
*Experience:*
* 5-8 years minimum project management experience
* 2 years experience in Insurance, Guidewire and IT
methodologies e.g., Agile/Scrum, RUP, ITIL, PMBOK
* 5 years experience using project planning tools, e.g.,
Microsoft Project, HP Project and Portfolio Management, Rally.
*Knowledge and Skills:*
* Advanced knowledge of project management tools and
methodology
* Ability to communicate complicated concepts to both
management and technical staff, and thrive in a crossfunctional matrix
environment
* Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
* Advanced knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
* Experienced in developing project charter and schedules
* Experienced in defining and prioritizing project
delivery activities
* Experienced managing project scope, cost,
organization, meetings, estimation and requirements
* Experienced managing project risks and issues
* Ensures quality of project deliverables and product
* Understands and adheres to policies and procedures
* Knowledgeable regarding procedures required to meet
Internal (SOX) Controls
* Develops Templates and Standard Operating Procedures
* Knowledge of financial tools and processes
* Consistently demonstrates exceptional written and
verbal communication skills
* Ability to work cooperatively and successfully with
project team members and customers without interpersonal or team conflicts
* Proactively manages their own workload
* Extremely cooperative, stimulates teamwork and good
attitude in others
* Follows and gives direction according to Initiative
and Matrix Structures
* Adapts by accepting, supporting and implementing
changes within the project
* Ability to motivate others
