The Sr. Systems Administrator designs, implements and maintains distributed
and legacy systems infrastructure in support of IT initiatives and end-user
requirements. The Sr. System Administrator also executes project tasks for
other project teams needing server resources. A thorough understanding of
best-practice systems architecture and administration is required as is the
ability to manage projects while meeting established deadlines for mission
critical systems. The Sr. Systems Administrator takes a primary role in
implementing tasks such as infrastructure design and upgrades, operating
system and application version upgrades application of patches, performance
tuning, troubleshooting hardware and software, hardware maintenance,
backup, recovery and security. Requires 5 - 7 years Linux experience
(prefer Redhat Linux) in a large (100+) server environment.  Requires 3 +
years configuring Linux infrastructure and systems, supporting Oracle
database servers in a Linux environment, working with virtual operating
systems (VMWare preferred).  Also Requires 3+ years' experience working
with SAN and Blade infrastructure (EMC VMAX preferred). DNS, OpenSSH,
OpenSSL, Apache. Desire working experience with WebLogic, Oracle RAC and
Citrix XEN App, Exchange, and SharePoint. Requires hands on design, build,
and administration of Red Hat Linux 5 and 6 systems, VMware 5.x, and the
hardware it resides (UCS & VBlock).   Working knowledge of SAN environments
with the ability to administer and troubleshoot these systems.  Working
knowledge of UCS Blade server environments with the ability to administer
and troubleshoot these systems.  Working knowledge of VMware environments
with the ability to administer and troubleshoot these systems.  Be able to
script needed tasks.
