The position requires the ability to install, upgrade and manage single instances and clusters. *Required skills:* · Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering. · 10+ years of related work experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a DBA. The position requires the ability to install, upgrade and manage single instances and clusters. · Must have working knowledge with database mirroring, replication and log shipping. · Must be proficient in writing and troubleshooting SQL Code, ETL packages, database integrity issues, blocking and deadlocking issues. · Proficiency is required in SSMS, SSIS, Query Analyzer and SpotLight. Must be able to develop procedures to monitor, tune and optimize database and application performance. · Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics is required.
