Looking for Oracle DBA who specializes in performance tuning/data optimization at global enterprise level organizations, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Proactive, not just reactive, performance optimization is needed. • Must have 7+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA specializing in performance tuning • Be familiar with data warehousing techniques, Oracle RAC, ASM, OEM, RMAN, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux operating systems, and Shell scripting Requirements: • 7+ years of experience with Oracle technologies (partitioning, security, performance tuning, memory management, SQL tuning, statistics gathering, Application audit logs) • 7+ years¡¦ experience in solid production support background. • In-depth knowledge of Oracle 10G/11G, AWR, OEM • In-depth knowledge of Oracle internals, to get data for performance issue and give recommendation to resolve issue • Unix Shell scripting experience • Strong Perl/PLSQL programming experience • Strong background with Disaster Recovery scenarios, Upgrades, Migrations, Data Modeling, application integration, and code optimization. • Excellent Database Administration, Issue Troubleshooting, Performance Analysis, Capacity Planning, and Project Management skills. • Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills. • Demonstrated project management and leadership skills. • Solid experience with upgrades, migrations, Disaster Recovery processes, and coordination. • Oracle database internal architecture knowledge. • PL/SQL performance tuning and expertise in reading trace and TKPROF output files • Monitoring and Performance tuning using Oracle 11g OEM grid control and tools • Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database • Planning for backup and recovery of database information • Proven ability to troubleshoot and trace data issues throughout the architecture • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, retain, and apply good interpersonal skills, and perform effectively under time pressure are critical skills required for this position • Excellent verbal and written communication • Must be strong in analyzing how Oracle resources are used during SQL executions • Ability to write and maintain high quality documentation • Preference given for candidates with previous Oil and Gas Industry experience • Preference given for candidates with a Trading floor or Financial Industry experience Certifications: Oracle certifications strongly preferred Thanks Vicky HDNS Group 347-427-9086 [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
