Job Title: AbInitio Developer End Date: 12/31/2014 Location: Downers Grove, IL *Job Description:* · Provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. · Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. · Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and understand and comply with Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps. · Read and understand business requirements, write functional requirements, develop detailed technical designs, and build / unit / system test application code. · Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation. · Support the changes/applications post implementation by debugging, fixing, and participating in maintenance releases as prescribed by management. *Qualifications and Skills: * · 3+ years hands on experience in AbInitio · 3+ years experience with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation. · 3+ years experience with Unix korn-shell · Strong working knowledge of at least one database · Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications · Knowledge of EME and promotion. · Working knowledge of DB2 · Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and work ethic · Exceptional technical skills.
