*Please send me updated resume to [email protected] <[email protected]> or you can reach me on 817-873-0014.* *Position: SCCM Engineer* *Locaton: Milwaukee, WI* *Duration: 6+ months * *Skills: NOT a packager, they need strong infrastructure, support of application, platform support* *Bill Rate: $50 - $52/hr C2C (max)* *Interview Process: Will hire off 1 phone interview but the person has to work onsite* *Manager Feedback: .My focus is surrounding the infrastructure support of sccm and much less around the packaging and distribution aspects.* *Job Description:* *Primary Purpose:* Responsible for the administration of Johnson Controls’ - Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), by installing and maintaining infrastructure tools and related system software, continuously improving the application through proactively analyzing and resolving related problems, and exceeding the customers’ expectations. Responsible for service delivery and support, including configuration, incident, problem, release, change, availability, and continuity management within defined operating and service level agreements. Primary Duties: · Administrates as part of a global team JCI´s SCCM application and assures that the application is available and performing - Installs SCCM upgrades and enhancements as needed - Administers the configuration of appropriate infrastructure tool systems and services for all JCI enterprise data centers and software installed locations. - Works with SQL and server support teams to ensure all responsible databases and servers are fully functional and supplying proper data - Provides for system continuity by developing backup and recovery processes and procedures to support recovery from application failures. - Applies security policies to the appropriate platform as determined by the IT Security group. - Monitors and evaluates system performance and performs tuning functions to achieve optimal system efficiency and throughput. - Interfaces and coordinates with SW packaging and deployment teams - Provides effective technical documentation to clearly communicate procedures and developments to other IT personnel. - Job Specifications: - Ideally university degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other associated technical field - At least three to six plus years’ experience managing Microsoft SMS/SCCM - Excellent communication skills and proficiency in speaking English - Knowledge of Microsoft Orchestrator or Operations Manager a plus - Knowledge and experience in maintaining and configuring SMS/SCCM tool software and managing the remote distribution points. - Strong analytical skills are required to understand, diagnose and resolve technical situations to provide and maintain 7 by 24 data center services. - Willingness to participate in an on-call support - This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent. Job Specifications: · 4 year university degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other associated technical field - At least two to five plus years’ experience with the Microsoft SCCM/SMS - MCSE 2003 or higher a plus - with a focus on the client/workstation - The successful incumbent in this position will have extensive knowledge and experience in maintaining and configuring SMS/SCCM tool software and managing the remote distribution points. - Strong analytical skills are required to understand, diagnose and resolve technical situations to provide and maintain 7 by 24.
