-      Must be able to design, plan, and implement activities around the
deployment of the customer operational environments including planning,
execution, and post implementation scenarios for any support.

-      Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and updates of
applications on servers

-      Manage system infrastructure and all related processes

-      Provide deployment support for day-to-day operations in the
Development, Test, Stage, and Production environments to include the
following:

-      Management

-      Must be able to implement, track and respond to changes and issues
using the establish Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem
Management processes

-      OS Installation, Restoration, and Migration

-      Virtualization/Zoning Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting

-      VCS Clustering Installation Configuration & troubleshooting

-      Administration, Troubleshooting, and Problem solving

-      Managing file system

-      Configuring disks, new HW, volume groups, LV’s

-      Installing packages, patches

-      Package, Patch management (installation, remove, verify)

-      Log file verification

-      User, group management



*Solaris Systems Administrator Required Skills:*



-      Must have 6 - 8 + years relevant work experience

-      Enterprise Sun Servers Installation and Configuration

-      Sun Fire M9000/5000/4000/3000/T5220/Blade Servers etc.

-      Solaris 9/10/11 Installation, configuration and troubleshooting

-      Disk mirroring, Raid configuration

-      Performance issues

-      LVM, Jumpstart

-      NFS, samba, FTP, autofs, NIS, DHCP, TCP/IP, services, daemons

-      Unix scripting ( Shell, Perl )





*Solaris Systems Administrator Preferred Skills:*



-      Sun Server Certified Professional

-      Sun Solaris Certified Professional

-      ITIL Process knowledge

-      Good communication skills

-      Experience in interacting with International teams

-      Good team player, able to work independently

-      Willing to learn new technology
