Looking for someone with 5-7 years of experience, self-starter etc. They will also need to have developed and executed ETL scripts and this person will be point in the development of an integrated data warehouse, so past implementation experience is also needed as well.” Work within the IT organization supporting various data sets and processes critical to the business unit and asset teams. *Responsibilities may include:* - Resolve user requirements related to gaps in data management process for a given data type evaluating all dependencies and available data sources. - Supporting, promoting and documenting processes related to data management. - Seeking and promoting implementation of standards and best practices. - Supporting, promoting and documenting all data management processes and procedures related to production and exploration data domains. - Working within the larger IT organization by contributing to the capture of synergies and implementation of best practices. - Representing IT on issues related to production data sets, exploration data sets and data management in general. - Seismic data loading and qc - Well data loading and qc *Basic/Required Qualifications:* - Legally authorized to work in the United States. - Direct experience with writing SQL queries - Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint - Strong customer service and communication skills - 3-5 years experience as a Data Analyst - Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or in petroleum industry discipline or equivalent petroleum industry experience. - Programming skills using any development tool. Preferably using Microsoft Visual Studio and/or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) scripts used in Excel macros, MSAccess modules, etc. - Knowledge of Relational Databases - Knowledge of data management standards, processes and technologies. Proven analytical and problem solving skills. - Proficient in management of production data and working with following tools: OFM, PEEP, Avocet, Crystal Reports, SQL, Toad / PL/Sql Developer, etc. - Knowledge of the well data types throughout the well lifecycle and their relationships. - Effective communication skills with the ability to relate to technical and business processes. - Proven planning/organizing skills, ability to multi-task. - Ability to initiate tasks and demonstrate innovative behavior. - Ability to adapt to new assignments and responsibilities. - Proven experience with data mapping - Prior oil and gas experience is a plus -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
