Looking forward to hear from you... *Role: Business Analyst- Investment and Fixed Income - Front Office Functional BA* *Location: Irvine, CA* *Duration: 6-12 Months* *Rate: $/hr on CTC All Inclusive* *NOTE:* *F2F interview (Non-locals are ok as long as they are ok with Face to Face meetings)* *Responsibilities:* · 3-6 years of experience and Bachelor’s degree. · A firm understanding of mutual fund accounting (including accounting systems) with exposure to a broad range of fund structures a plus. · A firm understanding of insurance portfolio management including familiarity with book values, book yields, amortization and gain/loss management. · Direct experience with front office support/reporting, including forecasting for income/yield-oriented mutual funds with distribution targets. · Understanding of GAAP & Tax rules applicable to US registered funds; familiarity with IFRS or other GAAP/Tax a plus. · Detailed knowledge of various asset types; fixed income, equity, derivatives and other securities. · Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and data management skills (Excel usage, Database queries, SharePoint SSRS Reports etc.). · Excellent communication skills, effective requirements gathering skills in a technology environment. · Highly organized; documentation advocate; process and quality control minded with ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. · Prior software development, requirements gathering, quality assurance and/or technology exposure a plus. · MBA, CFA and/or CPA preferred.
