*Long Term Contract* *Qualifications & Experience* Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline 7+ years of professional experience or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years actively working in a TSM Engineer role *Job Description* Able to perform day-to-day health monitoring, diagnostics, and issue resolution with regular status reports for all of the following o Tape library o Tape migration processes o Space reclamation o Backup job completion o TSM Database utilization o Tape and disk storage pools health and utilization o Storage Manager for Databases (MSSQL and Informix) Able to perform testing, upgrades, and maintenance on all of the following: o TSM server software o Server and Tape Library firmware upgrades 2 of 12 o Storage Manager for Databases (MSSQL and Informix) o TSM client software, including agents for file systems (Windows, HP/UX), databases (MS-SQL, Informix), and storage facilities (IBM StorWize, NetApp) Perform maintenance on all of the following: o Backup schedules and policies o Tape rotation schedules and off site notices to onsite staff o Backup retention schedules (daily backups retained for 90 days, quarterly backups retained for one year) o Maintenance schedules o Database capacity o Tape and disk pools and capacities o Off-site tape inventories (archived at Iron Mountain) Perform restores as needed, under direction of IT administration o As authorized by IT approval processes o Non-emergency restore requests during normal business hours Able to assist with implementation of encryption using IBM Security Key Lifecycle Manager, including o Ensuring all data in-flight or at rest (on disk or tape) are encrypted o Ensuring that all security keys are kept secure o Ensuring that multi-factor and multi-user authentication is utilized for all decryption requests *Location* Anywhere in Southern California -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
