Duration : Long Term, Hourly rate : DOE Need EAD's, GC's andCitiens We are looking for a SharePoint resource to help with the back end configuration and file migration as we onboard additional business units onto SharePoint. Job Description Innovations and Infrastructure is seeking a versatile individual with exceptional technical skills to assist with the implementation of SharePoint across the firm. The role will involve regular direct interaction with department heads from various business units. The individual will help shape processes, methodologies and conduct independent research to further strengthen the product. Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail are essential for this role. Responsibilities include: . Design, develop, configuring and deploy Microsoft Office SharePoint Server applications . Recommend workflow, site architecture, infrastructure, software implementation, web parts design, testing and deployment best practices to the larger implementation team . Documenting best practices related to configuration and permission architecture . Will directly with business stakeholders to assess functional requirements and help create individualized sites within the broader architecture for the various business units . Analyze end user reporting requirements and develop management level reporting on usage and performance to identify further efficiencies . Provide assistance for new site creation and maintenance (e.g. moving and copying sites, permission maintenance, site scalability, etc.) . Regular review, clean-up, management and configuration of SharePoint accounts and sites. This portion of the role will work closely with an Active Directory administrator . Creation of alerts and enforcing firm-wide defined policies . Assist with audits and firm governance policies from the legal, compliance and internal audit teams . Monitor updates, QA, deploy and apply all necessary patches and upgrades . Providing support to end users on SharePoint issues and problems Qualifications/Skills . Microsoft SQL Server . VB.NET, ASP.NET . HTML, PHP, XML, CSS, JavaScript . Visual Studio 2013 . Administering and developing SharePoint, 2007, 2010 & 2013 solutions while working closely with the user base . Microsoft Office Suite, developing SharePoint Web Parts, creating SharePoint workflows, customizing SharePoint site CSS, creating complex InfoPath forms, SQL queries and relational database structures . Windows operating system and hardware - Basic administration of a server including service packs and hot fixes . General knowledge of networking - IP, DNS, Load Balancing as well as the concepts of Availability, Scalability, and Maintainability. Understanding of firewalls, encryption and security zones . Internet Information Server (IIS) and the basic operation of websites, Application Pools, IIS Administration, the IIS Metabase, Ports, SSL Certifications . SharePoint working knowledge of Central Administration, STSADM, and the PowerShell administration modules. SharePoint Event Log troubleshooting, search administration and troubleshooting, concepts of a farm and the planning and implementation of Service Packs and Cumulative Updates Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
