*Job Description for Order Entry:*
*SUMMARY*
The order entry specialist will be responsible for receiving and entering
parts and/or repair orders in the client’s order management system.
Individuals in this role may also be responsible for generating shipping
and billing information through the client’s order management system.
Job Requirements: *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *
Key responsibilities of the *Order Entry Specialist* will include, but are
limited to:
· Receive requests for quote or Global Opening Letter from customer
· Work with client’s sourcing team for vendor, pricing and request
availability
· Forward quote to requesting customer within 24 hours of sourcing
confirmation
· Receive purchase orders for parts and/or service on a daily basis
· Create order in client’s order management system within 24 hours of
receipt of PO
· Complete request for materials and forward to appropriate fulfillment
center
· Track order throughout the process to ensure requested materials/service
is delivered to requesting customer within the quoted time frame.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Successful candidates will have previous order management experience;
· Be proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and
PowerPoint;
· Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
· Have professional phone skills;
· Have previous customer service experience.
